Plan your STEAM experience and choose the perfect hands-on session to pair with your visit, and let America’s Sports Car inspire discovery.

STEAM Program Offerings

Teachers may choose one STEAM-focused session that is tailored to their students’ grade level and aligned with the Kentucky Academic Standards; selections are due 30 days before arrival. Each STEAM session lasts 30 minutes, aligns with K–12 standards, and is hosted in the McMichael Family Education Gallery. Sessions accommodate standard rotations of up to 25 students per group.

Rubber Meets the Road (Elementary: K-6)

Speed meets science. Test how surface texture and weight influence friction and performance using die-cast Corvettes. Each grade level explores cause and effect through experimentation.

Influences of Design (Grades 6-12)

Learn the history of Studio X, GM’s top secret design studio, and get an art lesson from Former Director of Design for the General Motors Performance Car Studio, and Corvette Hall of Fame Member, Tom Peters.

Corvette Impact (High School: 9-12)

What does Corvette mean to Kentucky, and your students' futures? Uncover the Corvette's cultural and economic significance, from museum and plant careers to artifact design and vehicle delivery. A launchpad for career exploration.

Once you’ve reviewed the STEAM options, select your preferred session at least 30 days prior to your scheduled visit. After making your selection, email us! Then, get ready to let your students dive into the world of Corvette-powered learning.
